An "association" is a body of adult Girl Scouts that elects delegates to the Annual Corporate Meeting, advises the Board of Directors on policy, and receives reports on the progress of the council. Each Association has a chair, a Board of Directors Liaison, and a Council Staff Liaison who are present for each meeting and responsible for bringing information and receiving questions from the adult membership of the council.
Girl Scouts of Silver Sage has a total of five Associations in various geographical locations within our council territory:
Association 1 — Eastern Idaho
Association 2 — Southeastern Idaho
Association 3 — Central Idaho
Association 4 — Eastern Treasure Valley and counties directly to the north and south
Association 5 — Western Treasure Valley, Duck Valley Indian Reservation in Idaho and Nevada, and Malheur County in Oregon

Associations meet twice a year (once in the Spring and once in the Fall). Delegates elected from each Association attend the Annual Corporate Meeting in April.
