The Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Campaign for Girls is a council-wide effort (Staff, Board of Directors, and Volunteers) to raise $50,000 that will directly benefit the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE).
The GSLE is based upon a definition of leadership on which girls agree: A leader is defined not only by the qualities and skills she possesses, but by how she uses those qualities and skills to make a difference in the world.
Growing up today is dramatically different that it was even a mere decade ago. With social media sites impacting nearly every child’s life, at an increasingly younger age, girls are losing touch with positive, healthy, face-to-face relationships, and the array of benefits this brings later in life. This is why the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Campaign for Girls is so important.
