Juniors to the Rescue! Day Camp
Junior Girl Scouts are invited to this weeklong day camp based of Techbridge’s “Engineers to the Rescue- A Girl’s Extreme Survival Guide.” Juniors will imagine what they would do to solve problems that arise while camping in Yellowstone National Park (aka Friendship Square). Juniors will work together to design a wind-powered crank, create a water filtration system, build and test shelter types, design a car prototype, and earn their Geocaching badge along the way! Cost is $75 per girl and includes badge, materials, and snacks. Girls will need to bring a lunch.. This is for Juniors only (girls entering 4th and 5th grade). Registration is required and closes June 12, 2017 at 4:00pm.
Scholarship is available for this Day Camp for lower income girls, thanks to the generous funding from the Idaho STEM Action Center. Deposit of $10 must be submitted along with the Campership Application. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for questions or information on how to register using the scholarship. Registration using scholarship is NOT available online. Funds are limited, so don't wait!
