Attention 10th, 11th and 12th grade Girl Scouts:

Have you ever wanted to be part of making decisions for our council?

Have you ever wanted to let someone know that you have an opinion on issues too?

Would you like to be an advocate for older Girl Scouts?

If your answers were “YES!” then here’s a great opportunity.

Our current bylaws direct the board nominating committee to elect two older Girl Scout representatives to the Board of Directors. Those girls elected will participate with equal voice in the discussions and debates that influence decision making. Girls will be elected for a one year term and can reapply for another term.

Coming to the board meetings is important, so read the requirement on attendance carefully.
