A Step-by-Step Guide to destinations
STEP 1: Figure out just what destinations are…destinations are national and international Girl Scout sponsored travel adventures that give you a chance to go somewhere new, do something different, make lifelong friends, develop leadership skills and, above all, HAVE FUN! Destinations are your source to travel across your state, your country and your world.
STEP 2: Find your ideal destinations trip…Now that you know destinations are really cool Girl Scout travel opportunities, go to www.studio2b.org and check-out the complete list.
STEP 3: Choose up to 4 destinations trips to apply for. Applying for up to 4 trips gives you flexibility and options in case some of the trips are full or canceled. You will need to pay a deposit for the trips you plan on taking.
STEP 4: Download the application form and read it carefully. Remember, you must submit a separate application for each trip. Your application will be evaluated with other girls from all over the nation. Make sure to read the application instructions (page one) for tips to help make your application and essays noticed!
STEP 5: Pick 2 adults to be references for you. Choose adults who know you well, and can speak to your experiences and general awesomeness. Give the reference form to the adults –provide them with an addressed and stamped envelope so they can drop it in the mail when they have finished filling out the form!

STEP 7: Send or take your completed applications to Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council.  You will know whether you have been accepted to go on your destination trip approximately between January 15, 2010, and March 1, 2010.   Completed applications must be sent to:
Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council
Attn: Program Department
1410 Etheridge Lane
Boise, Idaho 83704

The Program Department will contact you to confirm they have recieved your application and that they have sent your application to the sponsoring council.

STEP 8: Plan how to pay for your Destination Trip. Use Cookie Dough, discover other money earning activities and did you know....Girls who are accepted and have accepted to go on a destination will receive $100 from Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council!
