Girl Scouts of Silver Sage403 - Troop Camp Skills

This course is required by at least one adult in your group prior to taking a troop camping trip. This course is the hands-on partner to course 402. Please note that this course includes only a very basic review of meal planning and outdoor cooking techniques.

Each Troop Leader attending can bring one Girl Scout with them (who is at least at the Junior Grade Level) to the session. Although girls much younger are often capable of learning the skills, the purpose of this course is to teach adults or older girls who can then teach other girls and adults.

Course fee is $2 per person, to be paid upon arrival to the class.

If you are an experienced camper, and feel that you are fully prepared to prepare your group for the camping trip, please review and complete the Opt-Out Agreement.
