Whether you're a girl who wants to be a Girl Scout, a parent ready for an outdoor adventure with your daughter's troop, or an adult—female or male (18 years or older)—looking to make a difference in a girl's life, there's something for you in Girl Scouts.
Don't have a daughter in Girl Scouts? That's fine. You can still serve as a mentor, volunteer in a troop or group, offer services at the council level, volunteer with our in-school Visions program, and much more. You can spend an hour, a day, or more, depending on your schedule.
The possibilities are endless!
Here are the Steps to Become a Girl Scout or Adult Volunteer:
- Depending on your volunteer activity, you may need to complete a volunteer application and a background check (Enter "girlscouts" as the username, and "shadowtrackers" as the password). Note: You will be notified if these are required.
- Pay your annual membership dues of $12.
