Whether you're a girl who wants to be a Girl Scout, a parent ready for an outdoor adventure with your daughter's troop, or an adult—female or male (18 years or older)—looking to make a difference in a girl's life, there's something for you in Girl Scouts.
Don't have a daughter in Girl Scouts? That's fine. You can still serve as a mentor, volunteer in a troop or group, offer services at the council level, volunteer with our in-school Visions program, and much more. You can spend an hour, a day, or more, depending on your schedule.
The possibilities are endless!
Here are the Steps to Become a Girl Scout or Adult Volunteer:
Submit the appropriate interest form(s)*:
Girl Membership Interest Form
Volunteer Interest Form
Volunteer Application for Parents
Volunteer Application
A member of our staff will contact you regarding local Girl Scout troops, groups, and activities, and if interested, volunteer opportunities.
After you have been contacted, you will then need to register with Girl Scouts by completing the Girl Registration Form (English) or Girl Registration Form (Spanish) and/or the Adult Registration Form (English) or Adult Registration Form (Spanish).
Depending on your volunteer activity, you may need to complete a volunteer application and a background check (Enter "girlscouts" as the username, and "shadowtrackers" as the password).
Note: You will be notified if these are required.
