Service Unit
The Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council (GSSSC) is organized by Service Units (SUs), which help with the administration activities of Girl Scouts within our council.

We have 68 Service Units, each covering an area such as a school or school, district depending on the size, and serves as a support system for leaders. GSSSC Membership Specialists coordinate several SUs.

Each Service Unit has a volunteer team that includes:
-- Service Unit Director (SUD)
-- Registrar
-- Treasurer
-- Cookie Manager.

The Service Unit holds monthly leader meetings where information is distributed, trainings are conducted, and ideas can be shared. The Service Unit supports adult leaders in signing up for mentors and for planning Girl Scouting events such as Award Ceremonies, Thinking Day Celebrations, and Investitures.
