Earn parts of an outdoor badge
Get the Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch
Have fun working on a hands-on nature project
Observe animal habitats
Participate in finishing adventures
Invite her girl bestie (who doesn’t have to be a Girl Scout) and make new friends—SWEET!

Ponderosa State Park

Girl Scouts of all ages and their families are invited to join us for “Girl Scouts Love State Parks Day” at Ponderosa State Park in beautiful McCall, ID! Let the adventure begin at the Payette Children’s Forest event where you will have the opportunity to explore and learn all about things in the outdoors. Swing by the Girl Scout booth to learn all about tin foil cooking over coals! To receive a one-of-a-kind 2019 Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch please register through Girl Scouts of Silver Sage. Everyone is welcome and girls are encouraged to wear their Girl Scout uniforms. There is a $5 fee to enter the park. Registration is required.

Castle Rocks State Park

Girl Scouts of all ages and their families are invited to join us for “Girl Scouts Love State Parks Day” at Castle Rocks State Park located in Almo, ID! Let the adventure begin by meeting us at the City of Rocks Visitor Center at 1:00 pm where we will get ready for our day outdoors! With the informative rangers helping you, learn how to fish in the Castle Rocks Pond or go on an interpretive trail hike on the California Trail lead by amazing rangers! Once you are finished with your activity, there is so much to explore with your family by your side! Girl Scout families must register and provide their own transportation. Girls registered through council will receive a one-of-a-kind 2019 Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch. Everyone is welcome and girls are encouraged to wear their Girl Scout uniforms. Please note that there are only enough fishing poles for the girls to participate. No youth fishing license required.

The fun of “Girl Scouts Loves States Parks Day” does not stop after dark! Join us at Twin Sisters Campground in City of Rocks for a Girl Scout sleepover that you will never forget. Girls will have the opportunity to giggle and laugh all through the night in this beautiful campsite. This is open to everyone in the family. You must bring all camping gear and food for the overnight. Girl Scout families must register and provide their own transportation. Cost is $4.50 per person paid at registration time. All adults attending the camping portion of this event must be a registered Girl Scout member for the current year and background checked.

Lucky Peak State Park

Girl Scouts of all ages and their families are invited to join us for “Girl Scouts Love State Parks Day” at Lucky Peak State Park in Boise, ID! Let the adventure begin at the children's event where you will have the opportunity to explore and learn all about things in the outdoors. Swing by the Girl Scout booth  from 12-4 pm for a badge passport and a one-of-a-kind 2019 Girl Scouts Love State Parks Patch when your register through council. Everyone is welcome and girls wearing their uniform will receive FREE park entrance. 

After dark (10 pm), join us again in the park for the ultimate astronomy experience and yummy s'mores! Participating girls will have the opportunity to earn their astronomy badge. This is open to everyone in the family.
