Spots are limited and are only open to girls with a participating adult at Super Saturday.
This year's Super Saturday theme is Girl Scout Way. This full-day workshop is designed to support Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts in completing their Girl Scout Way badge while giving Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors the opportunity to earn their Service to Girl Scouting Bar through meaningful, hands-on leadership roles.
Morning activities for all the girls include:
Learning and practicing Girl Scout songs and skits
Promise and Law craft and friendship bracelets
Team-building challenges and group games
Older girls will also begin their day with a Service to Girl Scouting and leadership orientation and mini workshop on youth mentorship, communication, and positive modeling. They'll then be paired with small groups of younger Girl Scouts to lead and support afternoon activities.
Afternoon activities will be a "Sisterhood Showcase". Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors will lead Daisies, Brownies and Juniors through stations with the following themes:
Celebrate Juliette Gordon Low birthday
SWAPs and friendship bracelets
Kindness and Service Corner (mini service project)
Leave No Trace & Indoor Campfire- sing camp songs, make s'mores, learn about camp activities
Adult volunteer participation is required for at least one session. Volunteers will:
Learn best practices for troop mentoring and collaboration
Observe effective youth-led facilitation in action
Support logistics and supervision while also engaging in small-group guidance
Connect with other leaders and volunteers to share ideas, challenges, and strategies
Girls will receive their Super Saturday patch, Girl Scout Way badge (Daisy, Brownie, Junior) or leadership fun patch (Cadette, Senior, Ambassador) at the end of the day.
Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors will still need to log their hours to earn their Service to Girl Scouting Bar. A schedule of upcoming council events and service opportunities will be shared at Super Saturday.
