If you’re in middle school or high school, Girl Scouts is the place for you! In Girl Scouts, you can explore your dreams, strengthen your leadership skills, and make great friends. Whatever it is you want to do, learn, or try, Girl Scouts is there to help you along the way!
Attention 9th, 10th, and 11th grade Girl Scouts!
Have you ever wanted to be part of making decision for our Council?
Have you ever wanted to let someone know that you have an opinion on issues too?
Would you like to be an advocate for all Girl Scouts? If you answered "YES!" then here's a great opportunity.
Our current bylaws include selection by the Council Membership, of two (2) non-voting Senior or Ambassador Girl Scouts who serve a one (1) year Board of Directors term. These girls participate in all Board meetings and training sessions but do not have voting rights. They are also invited to serve on a Board Committee of their choice and serve on the Teen Advisory Committee as technical officers.
These girls bring a valued perspective to Board discussion and decisions. The time commitment required is approximately 3 hours per month.
