Join our Program team as they guide your Cadette on the MEdia Journey. On this Journey, girls explore media and find out how to reshape negative media messages into more positive ones. They will use the knowledge they gain to create encouraging and educational media messages for their Girl Scout peers and community through a Take Action Project. Girls will receive their Journey Award set at the end of the session.
Light refreshments will be provided. Girls will need to bring their own lunch.
Exact location TBD; will be in Idaho Falls region.
Successful completion of this event satisfies the Silver Award Journey requirement. Girls must stay for the whole event.
SAVE UP TO $10 ON ONE GIRL REGISTRATION- We will need at least two background-checked parents or troop volunteers to stick around to satisfy Girl Scout safety ratios. This is also a great way to see a Journey in action! Please register yourself (an adult) if you can stay and help for either half of or the whole event. All adults who register will receive a token of appreciation and a $5 -$10 refund after event ($5 for half day, $10 for whole day). There are five spots available for this promotion. Thank you!
A $5 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. When selecting Program Credits, please be aware that they must be mailed, or hand delivered to the Girl Scouts Leadership Center (8948 W Barnes St, Boise ID 83709) at least one week prior to the registration deadline.
