Join us for a unique evening experience, getting to know our flying friends. Activites include ranger-led presentations, table-top activities centered around bats, and bat detectors to detect their echolocation calls. Families are welcome and encouraged to attend with their scout. All scouts will receive the Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch.
This is not a drop-off event.
This event will be held at the Discovery Unit. Even though this is a free event (see note about parking below), we kindly ask that you RSVP your scout so we can have enough stations and materials on site. Thank you!
All programming is free with the exception of the motor vehicle entrance fee of $7.00. This fee is waived if you have a valid Idaho State Parks Passport properly displayed on your vehicle. If you would like to additionally support the park, please consider bringing a lightly used book for donation into our lending library that will be put in at the Discovery Unit in 2025.
