Calling all creative problem-solvers and future changemakers! Join us for a full day of hands-on fun and innovation as Junior through Ambassador Girl Scouts complete the Think Like an Engineer Journey.

From 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM, girls will dive into the engineering design process, taking on real-world challenges and working both individually and in small teams. They'll brainstorm, build, test, and improve their creations, learning to think like engineers while having a blast!

All supplies and materials are provided.
Please bring a packed lunch, refillable water bottle, and wear comfy clothes for an active day.
Girls will receive their Journey Award set at the end of the session.
Light refreshments will be available.

From 1:30 - 3:00 PM, while girls work on their Take Action Projects, troop leaders and volunteers are invited to a special Highest Awards Check-In session. This is your chance to:

  • Get the latest updates on Bronze, Silver, and Gold Award requirements

  • Learn key timelines and planning tips

  • Ask questions and connect with other volunteers as you navigate Highest Awards

The volunteer fee includes printed Award Guides and quick-reference checklists for Bronze, Silver, and Gold requirements, sample project planning templates (proposal forms, budget sheets, timelines), and a resource sheet with local contacts and helpful tips. Light refreshments will also be provided.

This event will be held at the College of Southern Idaho, Taylor Building Room 276.

When selecting Program Credits, please be aware that they must be mailed, or hand delivered to the Girl Scouts Leadership Center (8948 W Barnes St, Boise ID 83709) at least one week prior to the registration deadline. Your spot is not reserved for an event until the Program Credits are received which may result in being put on the waitlist for sold out events.
