Camp Echo is based out of Friendship Square, located just outside downtown Boise. There is a multipurpose room, office, kitchen, and restrooms.
The best part of Camp Echo is the expansive lawn area to play games and the quick access to all the great things Boise has to offer including hiking trails in the foothills, the bike skills park across the street and quick access to the Greenbelt.
During the day, campers will experience morning and afternoon activities including but not limited to hiking, biking, STEM and arts-and-crafts. Each session includes a field trip or special visitors and themed activities to make their week extra special!

Safety is our number one priority at Girl Scout camp. Camp Echo is an American Camp Association accredited program meaning it meets the highest standards of camp health and safety.
Our talented team of staff and volunteers are interviewed, background checked through our HR department, and attend training for their specific roles, responsibilities, and program areas. Many of our staff were previously Girl Scouts and campers themselves who bring years of experience to the program.
Campers are divided into activity groups based on their Girl Scout age level and are guided by their camp counselors. They will participate in activities with the girls in their group as well as in larger, all-camp activities.
Our facility is within minutes of St. Luke’s medical center and our camp staff hold current First Aid & CPR certifications.
