The New Leader Orientation is a required training designed
to set every Girl Scout Leader/Volunteer up for success from day
one. In this 90-minute course, you'll get a clear overview of the
Girl Scout mission, program structure,
and what it means to lead a troop. You'll learn essential
responsibilities, safety guidelines, and where to find the tools and
support you need along the way. Whether you're brand new or
just need a refresher, this orientation builds confidence, answers
common questions, and connects you to a community
dedicated to helping girls grow into strong, capable leaders.
